How Bulk SMS Pricing Works in Kenya
Learn how CommsGrid SMS credits and message segments work, and where to check current top-up rates.
CommsGrid SMS Gateway access and destination coverage are specific to Kenya. Eligible Kenyan accounts can send using purchased credits, which remain separate from subscriptions. Current SMS credit tiers and minimum top-up are shown on the pricing page and in your account.
How credits are counted
SMS messages can be split into multiple segments based on length. Check the segment count and estimated cost in the compose screen before sending.
Other channels are available internationally
WhatsApp and Android Gateway are separate services for international customers where account plans, device and SIM support, and local availability allow. Buying SMS credits is not required for those modules, and buying SMS credits does not grant module access.
